The Murphy family are a happy family, they get along well, and they all work hard to be the best Sims they can be.

Aiden and Ivy work hard to be good at school.

 But they like to chill out too. Aiden prefers the nerdier pursuits...

While Ivy likes to go wild outdoors!

They also like to celebrate special events, like their mother's birthday!

They really are a close, happy family.

So, Akala might not have planned to become a mother, but she decided to be the best mother she could be!

Childhood is so important to Sim development, so Akala spent her time (when she wasn't working)

Reading to Aiden...

Helping him with his homework and playing his favourite game, chess!

Being this committed to being a good mum, often left Akala feeling run down.

Luckily she was able to get Aiden's father, Don Lathario, to help her out while she was at work, he was happy to some over and spend some time with his son.

Who quickly grew up into a confident teen!

Who wouldn't want to add to such a beautiful family?

It's Ivy, Aiden's adopted sister!

In our last update we left Akala Murphy with Don Lathario, and they were getting along very well... Very well indeed...

We won't go into details (*cough, cough*), however, this led to Akala taking a pregnancy test, which was POSITIVE!!

Talk about surprise!

Pregnancy wasn't exactly what Akala had imagined, it's not all nesting, and "glowing", there is a fair bit of nausea, and discomfort!

When baby Aiden arrived, he was a gorgeous little, bundle!

When Akala introduced him to his father, Don, he was not interested at all in little Aiden!

But that's okay, he doesn't need a dad when he has a wonderful, loving, mum...

By the way, during all this excitement and turmoil Akala was just to busy, tired and worn out to have a birthday party, but she is now a fully fledged adult!

Akala has been settling in to her home and neighbourhood, she's made some great friends, including her best mate Bob Pancakes, they met at the local park when Akala stumbled upon his family BBQ.

She's been going out dancing and meeting new people.

Even held a party or two of her own.

It was at one of these events that she met Don Lathario, and let's just say, they really hit it off...

Little did Akala know, how much change this meeting would bring to her life...

Well here we are, at the start of our journey. A journey of a family, which starts with one sim, our founder.

But who is she? What is her story?

Introducing Akala Murphy, our young sim who will spawn a legacy.
Akala loves to cook, she's more than a bit of a foodie, the next delicious meal is always on her mind! She's also a perfectionist, everything has to be just so! This can sometimes make people think she can be a bit of a snob.

At the beginning of our story Akala is setting out on her own, she's just bought her very own new home...
